With bases in Altrincham, Cheshire and London the Vegetarian Society Cookery School was established over 30 years ago as the culinary wing of the UK Vegetarian Society. We provide courses for catering professionals and the general public. A major part of our work involves working with producers and caterers to improve standards and choice for vegetarians. We are the culinary expression of the Vegetarian Society’s values – that adopting and maintaining a vegetarian diet is good for animals, people and the planet. As such we’re an ethical and innovative choice for those who want to learn to cook vegetarian food.
Five day, two day, one day, evening and weekend courses run all year round taught by qualified and enthusiastic tutors. Whether you’re an accomplished cook looking for a challenge or an absolute beginner, our friendly approach to learning provides an environment where creativity and conviviality are valued.
